If your not already aware I am currently living in Hawaii. yesterday we were under a Tsunami Warning and alot of people were pretty scared. Here are my thoughts on it:
The "Tsunami" was a joke. I also live on Schofield and we didn't even bother getting anything. I don't know why Hawaii made such a big deal about this...the waves only reached about 8 feet high. Personally, I was rather annoyed that we had sirens going at all. Woke my daughter up hours before she normally wakes! :(
LOL I have to agree that they hyped it up way more then it should have been. I slept through the "big inpact" they kept talking about the local news. At the end of the day I admit I did go get water and a few food essentials because it's always better to be safe then sorry :)
