Last year my family had the opportunity to participate in the Sears Heroes @ Home Holiday Program.
We received a Sears Gift card (which can also be used at Kmart) and a voucher to purchase a Christmas tree and decorations.
This program fulfills wishes of Military families through generous donations from customers just like you and I. With the struggling economy this is a great opportunity for some make to the holidays a little more brighter for their loved ones. I know for us personally it couldn't have come at a better time with a upcoming PCS and all the financial toll moving can bring at times.
To apply for the Sears Heroes at Home Holiday Program you or your spouse must be active duty.
To give everyone a fair chance at signing up the application opens at certain time periods of the day and closes at a specific time each day.
Today as of Wednesday Oct 21, 2009 the application is open from Wednesday October 21 2009,06:00 CST through Wednesday October 21 2009,13:45 CST.
The same will happen tomorrow.
Emails informing you if you have been selected for the Sears Heroes Holiday Program will be sent out the last week of October.

ReplyDeleteMy husband registered for this, but he hasnt received an email? Anyone know if they have been emailed yet? Maybe we missed out.
On militarysos.com their is a thread and alot of people have been receiving emails so I am not sure how Sears is doing it this year. I have not recieved an email either.
